APS6609   Tutorials   (15 credits)

Description

The MRes tutorial system provides students with a forum to develop as a research scientist. Academic tutors provide support with the advanced studies needed for postgraduate research. Students will present their ideas and research results to their peer group for feedback and constructive criticism. In addition, students will participate in a journal club where they choose which areas of the current research literature they wish to discuss. The tutorial system provides a structure to develop a community of learners within the postgraduate programme.
